HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I think this is a candidate for Christmas Family photo.

This was Adalei wearing Greg's (brother-in-law to cousin Kurt) Elvis wig once we had finished trick-0-treating.

Finally Mama gave me some candy.

Everyone loved Adalei and thought she was the "cutest" thing. They loved her costume and would "ewww and ahhhh" at her, it was so cute. I love it when people think our baby is so precious, makes you feel good as parents that's for sure:) The little girl in red was so cute she came up to Adalei and was so friendly and then took candy out of her own bag and put it in Adalei's. Then the Mom asked if she could take Adalei's picture, it was great.

She held her Darth Vader basket the whole night and would periodically dip her hand in to grab some candy (candy that the Evil mom would put right back in, "Not now, Baby.")

Just putting some goodies in her basket to go along with the rest.

These were our cute friends the Welch's. Maddy was such a cute little monster and Quin was if you didn't guess, Bumble Bee the Transformer. They are so cute!

Happy Halloween with the Rushings!

For this Halloween night we went to the go trick-o-treating with the cousins but before we left we stopped by our best friends' to party for a little. It was so much fun to see all of the kids in their costumes! I LOVE Halloween.I love this picture of Gabe. He is hilarious! And little Bridget posing with baby brother (as Robin).
I love how concentrated Adalei is on that little pumpkin.

Aren't these the cutest boys around!!! I really must say!

This was the best video Trav got while trick-o-treating. Adalei was so cute, she would walk up and pick out some candy then she would grab a second piece and sign "thank you" and be on her way to the next. She did such a good job, she's amazing.

Just a preview...

We can't wait for Halloween!

Funny Cousin Emerald

While the Kehr girls were here for a night visiting Adalei and Emerald really hit it off. Emerald was constantly making Adalei giggle and laugh. Addy thought she was pretty funny.

If you listen closely you can hear Adalei laughing. These girls are so cute!

I Phone

Man, what would we do without TECHNOLOGY? I really don't know. This little i pod has come in quite handy in situations. If Adalei is ever cranky all I have to do is pull out either the cell phone or the ipod and she is content. And now that she is older she actually watches the videos more so than she did before. She enjoys a little They Might Be Giants podcasts. I'm trying to see if I can get some Yo Gabba Gabba, she loves it!

She has figured that the little nobs go in her ear. I never taught her that because I've never really put them in her ear till just the other day. Usually I will turn it up full blast on the headphones so she can hear it without putting them to her ear, kinda like having them as little speakers if that makes sense. But she figured it's cooler to put them in her ears, although they don't stay for very long.

She also thinks I have the i phone. Nope, sorry baby, mom isn't that tech savy:)

Ward Trunk-o-Treat/Fall Festival

It was our ward's annual Fall Festival/Trunk-0-Treat (I know, I like to say it with just the 'o'). We had a chili cook off and then the candy time. You all know I won't give Adalei candy (because I am that mean mom), but it was fun to hang out with our dear friends the Olivers. Adalei and Joshua are pretty good friends. I would have to say he is probably her best friend. She really likes him and today Helen (Josh's mommy) and I made it official when Adalei was wearing Josh's coat at church....yeah, it's no lettermans jacket, but he doesn't have one yet;) So basically they are boyfriend and girlfriend. Oh, Adalei's first boyfriend, it's begun. So we had the cook off and then it was game time for the kids. We just hung out in the nursery where Brant (Josh's daddy) was in charge of a baseball game. Josh and Adalei were in charge of handing out candy to the kids who participated. They did a good job.
Adalei would try and sneak candy when she could. She would grab tootsie rolls and bite down on them and not let go when I would try and take them out of her mouth, the little stinker.

Joshua was so cute. He was a skunk and it looked fabulous. Adalei would have dressed in her costume but we haven't recieved it yet in the mail, but it's on its way, Hooray!

Everytime Adalei first sees Josh she gets so excited and she points at him like, "Mom look! It's Joshua...LOOK, Mom!"
I love this picture of Daddy and Baby! So sweet.
Adalei's "Captain Morgan" pose or maybe it's her trying to do "moon toes."

Here are Adalei's yoga buddies, Ben and Josh. So cute!
Josh loves getting his picture taken, it's so fun because he is so photogenic.

Adalei does this all the time.
So since we didn't have a costume for Adalei, we figured she could just pose as a Mexican (thanks Auntie Steph). She looks so cute in her little poncho, I love it!
