Christmas morning

Oh what a marvelous Christmas! The girls had a great visit from Santa. They were so excited to open gifts and then play all day with them. I asked Adalei what was her favorite gift and she replied, "all of them!" Oh how blessed our little family is and has been blessed throughout the year. We are so grateful for all the richness we have and the restored gospel in our lives! We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! Some of these pictures didn't turn out too good, but Adalei's faces are priceless still. ''

Gingerbread houses

For family home evening one night we made gingerbread houses out of graham crackers. The girls loved decorating their houses.

Nativity

Adalei loves nativities. So for a craft one day she made her own nativity to display. ''

A day at the zoo

For Piper's birthday we went to the zoo for a day of fun. It was a great day and not too cold at all. We had lots of fun seeing all the animals, especially the tigers and the lion. They were very active that day and out playing and talking. '

Pretty makeup

''
I walked into the room the other day to find this. I love it when they are getting along and playing so lovingly with one another.
''
Showing me their pine cones and leaves. Adalei did her own makeup...can you tell?

Trying to catch up.

Helping play in the leaves! The girls love being outside especially to jump and play in the fall leaves. All the while Travis is trying to clean them up, oh well. ''

Trike-A-Thon and Halloween Party

Adalei had a Trike-A-Thon at her school to raise money for children at St. Jude's Hospital. There was the option of riding a bike, trike, or scooter; or pushing a stroller. Adalei opted for pushing a stroller. Although when she saw that everyone else was riding a bike she decided to not do the laps around the track for fear of getting run over by 18 preschoolers on bikes with training wheels-DANGEROUS! I don't blame her. She really would have gotten pummeled by the craziness. There was a handful of crashes and it would have been crazy:) So she stood by mommy and Piper and watched the other kids complete the 20 laps around the homemade track in the school's parking lot. It was comical. She did however win the award for best decorated "push toy" for the event. She was very proud of her certificate and trophy. ''
She's a bit nervous, can you tell:)

Adalei and Cole, ALWAYS together. I love how she's got her tiny hands in her pockets, so cute.

Halloween Party! Adalei had her Halloween party at school on Halloween. It's always fun to see her up in front of everyone with her class. She's gotten so much more confident and does a very good job! Although her wig was falling down the whole time, poor thing. Oh, yeah....that Big Bad Wolf is Cole....again, always together:)

It's a Small World

Adalei loved It's a Small World ride. Especially because there was an Alice doll among the dolls of the world...oh, and Ariel.
