Visit to see Santa

This morning Piper had a doctor's appt. so we ran over to it and then I thought it would be nice to give Santa a visit. I was curious to see what Adalei would do once we got up to see Santa. At least she didn't cry and freak out, but as you can see from the pictures she didn't even look at him. She was silent and pretty much didn't move the whole time she sat on his lap. Now, these pictures are pretty shotty because I had to go outside of the "fenced" area to take my own picture so I wouldn't have to buy one...lame! So I threw the girls on Santa's lap and ran out and snapped one (yeah, sorry, just one) picture and picked the girls up and then we ran over to H & M. I felt rushed and stuff because there was a huge line of people (paying people) waiting to see Santa too. So sorry:)

I snapped this one as I was walking up to get the girls (I didn't want the elf lady to yell at me for taking pictures where I wasn't supposed to, so I was trying to be sneaky....and it got me a blurry picture, Oh well).

The Day After

Church was canceled yesterday due to the weather so we snuggled up at home and played/worked out in the snow. Adalei loves being out in the snow for the shear fact that it is all edible (even if it has a little dirt). That's pretty much what she does when she goes outside...eats the snow. But her favorite thing is icicles. She calls them "popsicles." She chomps down on them and chews them like a piece of taffy....great for her teeth!

Yes, it's a pretty good fact that Adalei no longer EVER looks at me when I am taking pictures (if you haven't noticed). I can barely get her to look for a couple seconds and say cheese. But I love these pictures of her little body walking along the snow. This is a good indication of how much snow we got too.

This is AFTER they plowed our street...nice. It ain't like Utah that's for sure.

She loves to squat down and make a seat on the edge of the snow. She thinks it's pretty cool.

Good luck, Mr. T (our postman) getting mail delivered. Actually Travis spent the morning removing all the snow plowed up against our cars and most of the snow on the mailbox for Mr. T. Thanks, Hunk-o-Burnin-Love!

Helping out as usual.

This is funny. This is our neighbor's two parking spaces. Where as you can see they didn't have their cars parked there the night/day it snowed. Therefore it was a fine place for the plow to dump all of the snow. Poor guys won't be able to park there for quite some time:)

Winter Wonderland

The snow started yesterday around 9:00pm and didn't stop all day. Last I heard we had 21 inches...WOW! We've stayed in of course...snowed it. Church is canceled tomorrow and I'm just hoping they come and plow my street before Tuesday. Daddy and Adalei went outside a couple times today to shovel some of the snow. Adalei loves going outside. I only wish we had a sled to drag her around in, she would really like that! So here are some pictures of the snow, enjoy:)
